Early in Laura Geller’s career, she had two great loves: beauty and Broadway. The born-and-raised New Yorker brought them together when she began working backstage as a theatrical makeup artist. Her passion and talent led her to open her own makeup studio on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where she quickly became known for creating wearable, confidence-boosting looks with a personal touch.

In 1997, Laura launched Laura Geller Beauty with a mission to make makeup approachable and fun for everyone. Her debut product - a highlight and contour kit - set the tone for a brand that would go on to pioneer innovations like the award-winning Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer, widely regarded as the first makeup primer on the market.
